At Route 66 Riders, we are the worlds first and only independent, Harley-Davidson® Authorized Rental Operator. We are true Harley-Davidson®
motorcycle enthusiasts who love the freedom of riding the open road.
Our rental location in beautiful Marina Del Rey (Los Angeles), California is within easy riding distance of
such scenic locations as Pacific Coast Highway, Hollywood,
Las Vegas, Death Valley, Route 66, and the Grand Canyon.
The President, and owner of Route 66, Glenn Alan Bartels, is
a Harley guy from birth. A love for
motorcycles is in his blood as the Bartels’ family of Los Angeles, California
has been in the Harley-Davidson industry for over 25 years.
Seeing a need for Harley-Davidson® motorcycle
rentals, in 1994 at age 27, Glenn Bartels took his five personal, custom Harleys to
pioneer the Harley-Davidson® Rental world.
Today, 15 years later, Route 66 carries over 150
late model Harley's for rent to the public, as well as movie production
studio rentals. Our clientele is predominantly European tourists here to become cowboys
in the wild, wild, west, as well as local, weekend motorcycle enthusiasts. Renting a Harley can be way cheaper than the cost of ownership!
Bartels' also has a large celebrity clientele,
including California Governator Arnold Schwarzenegger, former NBC Tonight Show
Host Jay Leno, Bruce Springsteen, Steven Tyler, Bob Dylan, George Clooney, Mel
Gibson, John Travolta, Bruce Willis, Peter Fonda and the list goes on. If you want to see celebrities, this is the place to be!
